Why I Chose Northwestern:
I chose Northwestern for its political science and legal studies program. Their academic and social support opportunities drew me into the school. From intros to interpretive and empirical methods, to learning about constitutional law and national security, I was convinced that Northwestern would not only captivate me by their workload, but enchant me through the professors passion in their fields.

Perla enjoys reading and tutoring middle school students.
What I plan to do after graduation:
After graduation I hope to spend my time in a non-profit organization that focuses on helping immigrant families. My hope has always been to go to law school and become an immigration attorney.
